The new Longchamp campaign takes us straight to the 70s

Picture yourself in a time-travel, with a fresh and “free” style that only the ’70s brings. This is the image chosen for Longchamp‘s spring/summer 2019 campaign.

Entitled ‘The Ride’, it shows strong “western” influences in pieces presented at the New York Fashion Week.

Kendall Jenner was the chosen model for the photos. She was called ambassador for the French brand in April 2018 and stars her second consecutive campaign for the label.

Through Mikael Jansson lens, Kendall shows pieces made of leather and suede with lots of fringe and gladiator sandals. The Amazone bag, which was one of the hits of the season, is highlighted in the images.

The looks were made purposely to offer movement giving the feeling of freedom, so important to Longchamp.

The campaign video ranges from images of a horse running freely through the streets of Malibu and Kendall Jenner driving an antique car.

“Energy and freedom are essential to the brand’s vision. Our goal is to make every trip unique and elegant – whether for a day or for a lifetime” says Marie-Laure Dubuisson, marketing director of the brand, in a press release.
