Paris will hold a memorial in honor of Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld was undoubtedly one of the great fashion designers who have gone through the world. The fashion kaiser died last February, but we still feel the loss. The German revolutionized Chanel, worked for 54 years at Fendi and had its own brand. At age 85, the stylist was a true icon, no wonder that the honors are not being limited! Fendi has already announced that he will do two shows in tribute to Lagerfeld and now Paris, the city he loves, will host a memorial for him.

The three houses Karl worked will get together for this tribute, which will take place in the main hall of the Grand Palais. Entitled “Karl For Ever,” the memorial will feature a performance staged by theater and opera director Robert Carsen. We can also expect several Kaiser videos, as well as interviews with its main collaborators in the world of fashion, art and culture.

The presentation will feature videos and live performances by musicians, singers and actors dancers performing the most loved works by Lagerfeld. Without a doubt, the show will be a true tribute to everything that surrounded and inspired the stylist, who will be remembered forever throughout the world.

The memorial will take place on June 20, 2019, during the Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. If you are in town, prepare the heart for strong emotions!
