The city, which is located in the heart of Alentejo, owns a historical, cultural and architectural heritage that impresses and is now providing another reason to visit and discover its charms.
The Convento do Espinheiro Historic Hotel & Spa, built in the middle of 1412 is known as a national monument and is named after the legend that tells the apparition of the Our Lady of Fatima, in addition to having already been the headquarters for important kings and monks.
