Meat Me: this is the new meat restaurant in Lisbon

With two floors and a terrace to be debuted soon, Meat Me is the new meat restaurant in Lisbon that is making hearts beat faster. Located in Chiado, the space counts on a complete experience that includes until DJ on Fridays and Saturdays to pack the mood with jazz and blues.

When arriving at the restaurant the first thing to find is a plate with a button, which says “Press for Champagne” – without doubt it’s a nice way to be welcomed! The menu is divided by the animals that starts with the cattle, then the pigs, birds and fish, to leave any carnivore of water in the mouth. The most curious thing is that each dish receives a label with origin, race, time of maturation, the place where the animal lived, where it died and its name. Worthy of a place that owns a steak sommelier, Bruno Fortuna.

Best of all, Meat Me has a different way of preparing your proteins, each piece is boned and grilled separately. The techniques guarantee a uniform and tasty final result.

The restaurant also has several appetizers and desserts that guarantee the satisfaction of the most demanding customers, such as the couvert that features slow fermentation breads, focaccia, rosemary and tougarashi and flatbread. To close the palate with a golden key, was created by the pastry chef André Morgado an impressive dessert: chocolate cigar, Glenfiddich whiskey, smoke and clementine.

But the night does not end there! To finish the tour, the second floor has a cocktail bar that is worth the visit. The establishment has created its own ice, with a special production that when removing the impurities from the water causes the cube to last for up to one hour.
