Set in the inspiring south of France, the Cannes Film Festival is the true translation of elegance and glamour. From the most daring productions to the most traditional ones, its red carpets are a real glam. And it attracted attention of fashionistas from all over the world, looking for references of what is the new chic and finding the best fashion party looks of the season.
This year’s edition is a buzz! With a unique concept, celebrities and influencers are pointing out the biggest trends for gala dresses. Between the most adopted styles, deep cleavage is among the favorites! Selena Gomez, Alessandra Ambrósio and Amber Heard are the translation of elegant looks but with a sexy touch.
Present in a large part of the most daring looks of its red carpets, shimmering is one of another celebrities’ big bets on the event. Izabel Goulart for example, invested in two productions that showed that sparkles are the season trend.
Tulle dresses also gained notability, such as the green Dior model worn by Julianne Moore, who had a cape in the fabric. Plus, layered garments were also on the spotlight, the Bella Hadid´s dress – also from de French label – became one of the most commented of the event.
As far as the subject is color the festival is also dictating trends! Clear shades have been the most used on red carpets. White pieces have proved to be favorites, but pastel colors like millennial pink and blue are also good bets.
