5 new hotels in Lisbon

When traveling (or even strolling and having a different night), choosing an ideal hotel can make the difference! Lisbon is a city full of amazing hotels, many of them just inaugurated and ready to be unveiled and appreciated. Check out 5 new hotels in the Portuguese capital for an unforgettable stay.

Maxime Hotel

Burlesque and provocative, this is the style that Maxime Hotel brings to its guests. With an elegant look and strong cabaret influences, the new hotel was placed in the upper floors of the building featuring 70 standard rooms and 5 themed rooms of 25m2. The place also has a restaurant signed by chef Luca Bordino, which also offers burlesque and stand up shows.

Raw Culture Bairro Alto

Located in the Bairro Alto neighborhood, this hotel’s history began when its creator, José Oliveira, found an old typography in Rua das Gáveas and decided to give life to the place. In this way the concept of the Raw Culture Bairro Alto was conceived, an aparthotel filled with works of art that were part of José Oliveira’s personal collection. In all, there are 13 lofts and a multidisciplinary gallery, where you can find different types of art – from architecture to design.

Eurostars Museum

It’s hard to find more privileged location than the Eurostars Museum. At the Tejo riverside, the 5-star hotel will surely take anyone’s breath away. Its own name already suggests the reason, the place gathers a great cultural patrimony from several centuries ago, with items that reveal the different folks who lived in Lisbon. On Sundays there is a guided tour with archaeologists to meet the findings discovered during excavations at the former Coculim Palace.

The Lift

The name of this boutique hotel honors the Elevador de Santa Justa, a historic lift close to the establishment. The Lift is made for those who wish to stay in a well-located and charming place since it is housed in a typical Lisbon building with Pombalino-style architecture and has a contemporary and elegant decoration inspired by neo gothic lines.

Lux Lisboa Park

With a “corporate” style, Lux Lisboa Park is located a few minutes away from downtown. But the hotel goes far beyond that as it has a spa with massages, acupuncture and osteopathy treatments and a gym with physiotherapy and clinical treatment services. The place also has a bar and a restaurant!
